A rainy Monday in Mobile

We woke up to the feeling of movement in the trailer. It was disorienting and as I shook off the haze of sleep and opened the window shade I saw that our trailer was floating out into the bay due to heavy flooding in the area last night. Fortunately we had asked for the boat conversion package to be installed while they were resealing the windows. I fired up the outboard motor of our now houseboat trailer and we toured the bay for a good hour before deciding that we needed to get school and work done. 

Well, that is how I kind of wish the day went. It was actually pretty boring with school and work all of the day. We were blessed to be in an area that the tornados and heavy rains missed. We had showers off and on throughout the day. The kids enjoyed their new Minecraft gamepurchase for a while this evening and Stacey made a good spaghetti dinner. All in all not a bad day but not quite as exciting as it could have been.....
