Buttonwood RV Resort

We were up and out of our campsite at Lazydays right around 10 am this morning. Brock said it felt good to be on the road again. The hooking up and detaching process went so smoothly today. I was glad since we'd just had two longer-term stays in a row. Glad we didn't get out of practice.

We arrived at Buttonwood RV Resort in Cortez, Florida between 11 am and noon. It is a well manicured park that seems like it will be a nice spot for us to stay for the next week. We were able to use our Passport America card here for about half price and the management seemed very nice. He even said he wouldn't charge us for our extra people. Hooray!

There is a little swimming pool here, good wifi, and it is so fun to see the different vegetation here in Florida. Just giant leaves and some really beautiful tropical flowers that are blooming in mid-December are a little mind boggling. This campground's location is very close to some beaches that are rated the best in the US so we are looking forward to exploring over the next few days.
