Dinner in a Train Followed by Bowling

It was a pretty standard first half of the day. We hung around the trailer for school work and work and work. We ate breakfast and lunch. Midafternoon we got together with George, Amber and Gabbie Love.

We first went to Katy Trail Park. The kids played around on the playground while the adults visited and got to know each other a little better.

After a couple of hours at the playground, the kids had worked up quite an appetite and we all decided to go to dinner. We followed the Love's to Kehde's BBQ where we could eat good BBQ in an old train car.

They had a horse kids could ride without putting any quarters in. Pretty cool!

From there we headed to the bowling alley, where we bowled two lines on two lanes. It was quite fun and good for some laughs. The small town bowling alley was definitely a little run down and Skylar got a cockroach in his checked out bowling shoes. He wasn't very happy about that. Spencer ended up being the big winner on the kids' first game and Brighton got the lead score on the second. George was the big winner of both games on the adults' lane.
