Brock was at his conference again today. The kids and I hung out at the trailer and got our school work done...blah blah blah. LOL I don't have much to report.
The most exciting thing that happened today was the park really clearing out before noon and then after 2, the big rigs start rolling in. First we got a neighbor on our left side with four big dogs all one breed. I didn't really think much of it until another rig pulled in and parked on our right and out jump three more large dogs, two of which are the same breed as the ones on our left and one black lab. This immediately got me to thinking there must be a dog show in Orlando this weekend. I googled it and found there is a Rhodesian Ridgeback show on Friday, here at Bill Frederick City Park! Wow, that should be fun. Maybe we'll even get to see it. In the mean time, we're keeping a tight leash on our own excitable black lab. All these potential playmates close by have her quite perky.
The only other thing I'd like to tell you about is a minor miracle that happened tonight. All four kids played in the bunkroom happily for over an hour...together. I think I had visions of this trip being like that more often than we've experienced in real life so far. I'm hopeful we will get there as God grows us in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Until that time, I'm holding on to the sound tonight of all our kiddos giggling together and enjoying one another; it was good for my heart.
Welcome to our Adventure...
We packed up the kids, dog and the trailer and headed out for adventure, learning and helping others. During our adventure we will try to update this site as often as possible to keep everyone interested involved in our travels and to keep a journal for ourselves. The plan is to be working, schooling, helping and sharing on the road for a year.

Rejoicing with you Stacey! It has to be difficult because of the different personalities for the kiddos to always agree and get along BUT we who are striving to be more like Jesus are all "like-minded" which bonds us together. Thank you Lord!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat with the dog show being at the park! Heidi has got to be excited with all the new friends and smells.
Take care!
