Well, you kind of know how exciting today was based on the title. We enjoyed getting to know the campground here a bit and really like it. We will be exploring more tomorrow but got out a bit and saw a few of the trails. So far it seems like a really nice place.
School was a typical Monday - not sure why that is such a tough day but I guess just getting back into the swing of things. At the end of the day we did our Walmart shopping trip to stock up on some groceries. Stacey has an idea that putting a bunk/cot in the back instead of having both older boys sleep on the cushions on the floor will make more room. We bought a folding cot we thought would work back in the bunk room but of course it was about 2 inches too long. Guess we will be returning that this week. We also looked at room heaters while we where there as this would be less costly than propone but we got a little overwhelmed with the variety so decided to research a bit first.
We did get a cool new flashlight that is measured I think by how many sun power vs. candle power. The older kids have been a little hesitant taking the dog for walks in the dark so hopefully this will help out with that.
And of course I gave Heidi a bath. She actually did really well and feels and smells better so we are happy about that.
