The most exciting thing that happened today was that after school and work, we went to Wal-Mart to return the cot that we purchased the other night. This time I went armed with my tape measure so I could measure the other model cot that they had in stock. I was excited to see that it was exactly the size we needed to fit in the slide in the kids' room. Our latest theory is that the "leak" in the slide may just be from the build up of condensation under the j-cube foam mattress that never gets off the floor. The cot bunk should give the carpet a chance to dry out if that is the problem, so we shall see.
I think the kids all like the new sleeping arrangements. While it does provide a little more sitting area for day time as well, the second j-cube that would normally have been in the slide is now a little "in the way" for access to some of the clothing so it's not a perfect solution. Time will tell if it's worth it.
Welcome to our Adventure...
We packed up the kids, dog and the trailer and headed out for adventure, learning and helping others. During our adventure we will try to update this site as often as possible to keep everyone interested involved in our travels and to keep a journal for ourselves. The plan is to be working, schooling, helping and sharing on the road for a year.
