Welcome to our Adventure...

We packed up the kids, dog and the trailer and headed out for adventure, learning and helping others. During our adventure we will try to update this site as often as possible to keep everyone interested involved in our travels and to keep a journal for ourselves. The plan is to be working, schooling, helping and sharing on the road for a year.
Please feel free to post comments and questions! Thanks for following!

Friday in Freeport

Pretty much a normal school and work day. We decided we had a bit of cabin fever so we headed into the Freeport Library. This was a good choice as each person got some alone time and the chance to do something in a room bigger than our trailer. I was able to get some good focus time for work while Stacey worked on school with Brighton and Brynna.

In the late afternoon we grabbed McDonalds (eeeh) and got back to the trailer. I was able to participate in our 3rd Quarter meeting via Internet where we review how we did in the business and plan for next quarter. It was nice to feel like part of the team and review the meeting. I am impressed with how well the team is doing. We have a great group of people and some great managers helping to drive the business. I am really grateful for them - this trip would not be possible without them.

It was a pretty low key evening after that. Stacey and I started to plan out how to get from here to Orlando in three weeks. Sounds like plenty of time but we are trying to only move twice a week so we can actually get school and work done while seeing the local sights. We have been able to map a route down to South Carolina so far. We decided to spend a couple of days in Philadelphia and then head East down through Delaware and over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel. This might be a little risky as if they wind is too high they will not let us over the bridge but we live on the edge!

No pictures today but we are uploading a video that was filmed on Ben's new video camera on his birthday so please check out the Videos page. Tomorrow we head south of Boston for a week of exploring the area. I am taking vacation time so we can see the sights we want to in the few days that we have there. We are also looking forward to spending time with Craig, Kim and their boys. They own Roan Solutions and are part of our HTG group.
