Welcome to our Adventure...

We packed up the kids, dog and the trailer and headed out for adventure, learning and helping others. During our adventure we will try to update this site as often as possible to keep everyone interested involved in our travels and to keep a journal for ourselves. The plan is to be working, schooling, helping and sharing on the road for a year.
Please feel free to post comments and questions! Thanks for following!

What about socialization?

Today was pretty much a normal day at the campground with the exception that the kids got an exorbitant amount of socializing time with other kids. ;o)

Brock had a very long work day today, starting early and finishing up late so he was kind of holed up inside the trailer pretty much all day only getting out to shower and use the restrooms.

The kids and I got our schoolwork done pretty much by lunch and the rest of the day they spent  running around outside playing on the basketball court, playground and just out in the street. There is a nice boy named Peyton who is close to Spencer's age who has a fun ride on toy, I think a Razor 360, that spins and he was very generous about sharing with our boys and they all had a great time together. There was even a never-ending game of modified Old Maid between Brighton and his new friend, Jordan. There is a young lady about Brynna's age too and they were the nurturing ones to the youngest of the "neighborhood" kids.

There was deluge of rain for about 30 minutes in the early evening along with a rumble or two of thunder. It really soaked everything and puddled up in our site, but that seemed to lighten up the clouds and use up a little of the humidity in the air. The boys all stayed out and played in it and wrestled around and got soaked. Tomorrow's forecast is supposed to be a lot sunnier so it should be a great day to check out Nashville.

*Tonight at dinner, we had leftovers, Skylar asked for some "car-ma-jon" and I said, "It's Parmesan," just thinking he temporarily forgot. He was shocked! "What?!" he says, "I've thought it was car-ma-jon for 6 six years!"  He really cracked me up.
