Today was just a normal day around the trailer as far as school goes. The kids were a little down that all their campground friends had gone home and it was pretty much just us again. The park really cleared out.
Brock worked a normal first half of the day and then headed in to Dallas to attend his meetings. This next week will be a very full one for him, but usually turns out to be pretty energizing and encouraging too. It is always good for him to be with other IT professionals, to be each other's sounding boards for ideas and to share knowledge with each other. The week also includes vendor presentations which can be helpful.
I thought you might like to see what our camp spot looks like. It is a big improvement over our most recent places. Isn't it huge?
By the way, we installed our stabilizers this morning and they really seem to help with the rocking. Above shows the one at the bumper and below is a closeup of the one by the entrance.
You adjust the height and put it loosely under the frame and then tighten the wratchet strap until it is sucked up tight to the frame. Simple idea that seems, so far, like it might actually work! :O)
Welcome to our Adventure...
We packed up the kids, dog and the trailer and headed out for adventure, learning and helping others. During our adventure we will try to update this site as often as possible to keep everyone interested involved in our travels and to keep a journal for ourselves. The plan is to be working, schooling, helping and sharing on the road for a year.
