Another New State

Today started much gloomier than the past couple of days. The sky was very overcast. It was still warm though. It looked like the forecasted thunderstorms would be arriving soon, and we were getting ready to move. Brock was a little worried about the winds. We were pleasantly surprised when the wind didn't really affect our handling at all. I think it might've been pushing us along.

We had Tom direct us on a county road versus the interstate to avoid tolls and we didn't regret it.

We were a little surprised when we first arrived at our RV park. It got really good reviews on rvparkreviews.com. It's location is not the most appealing, but once we got inside the little "compound" it was pretty nice. It was really funny because I could tell that Brock and I were on the same page with our first impressions, but Skylar sees it and chimes in from the back seat, "Hey! This is really nice!"

He was looking at the smooth pavement. It has been awhile since the scooters came out and so he immediately started making plans.

There were a couple of scattered sprinkles, but no real rain. After a late lunch, the older kids and I finished up our fun books outside so I could keep an eye on Spence and Sky as they scootered around.
